Well. after last nights Hallowe'en shenanigans on Shop Street, all was back to normal in Galway today - although there was quite a bit of wreckage lying around still! Lekker bright, red sky, morning, followed by pouring rain for the rest of the day as the barometers dropped fast. Very wet and windy altogether. 9 to 6 shift at Samuels today. Very boring first couple of hours, then quite busy , if not very lucrative, for the rest of the day. No big sales or excitement to record. Dave got into sort mode and heaved bags and bags of rubbish out of the third floor. I think there is some tidy branches competition coming up. Cetainly we are due for an Excellence Through Employees audit next week, whatever that may involve.

Got all the Galway papers, but no more articles on Lynda. The one iin the Galway Advertiser was really good, and has prompted several phonecalls from interested folk, and not just South Africans, either.

Picked up a picture of Lynda's from Framer Peter's house on my way home. They had a huge fire going, and it was very cosy inside. Such lekker folk, Peter and Kathleen.
